Movie Synopsis
Cody Weever strongly desires to make a movie, but his tycoon mother refuses to
fund the production.  When a rumor spreads in his wealthy hometown that the
beautiful, no talent Hollywood heiress Jasmine Danell will be starring, the
town's people clamor to be associated with the project.  Blinded by ambition
and revenge, Cody accepts money from the desperate townspeople despite their
complete lack of experience or knowledge.  He is able to afford Jasmine but
ultimately loses control of his once personal project, as well as the
support of his long time girlfriend.  Will Cody be able to redeem himself

Treatment
"Our Feature Presentation" is a comedy about a young man with big dreams
who lives in a small town with deep pockets.

Cody Weever wants to make a movie.  After his tycoon mother refuses
to fund the production, he becomes even more determined.  When a
rumor spreads that starlet Jasmine Danell will make an appearance, the
townspeople clamor to sign their name to the project so that they can get
close to this beautiful, no talent, Hollywood heiress.  Using their unlimited
resources to get a piece of the limited spotlight, the town goes crazy to
share with the world exactly how wonderful their children (and their pets)
really are.

Cody is blinded by ambition, victim to his own ego, and distracted by the private
vanities of the wealthy.  He manages to cast Jasmine, but at great personal
cost.  Not only does he lose his artistic vision, he jeopardizes his
relationship with his beautiful and professional girlfriend, Maxine.

Beneath the uproar of an ensemble cast, "Our Feature Presentation" explores 
the questions young artists must ask themselves while searching for their 
place in the world. How can dreamers see reality solidly and keep a fluid 
imagination? Where does art and creativity mingle with money and the bottom 
line?

far people will go for fame and exactly which personalities they will exploit
to get there.
